About Teuta

Outgoing, nature lover, and art appreciator born and raised in Bitola, now based in Skopje, N. Macedonia.
My bookshelves mostly include literature from Friedrich  Nietzsche and Paulo Coelho, which are my favorite authors, but I also do enjoy "going back" to the Classical Era, as well as reading contemporary literature, from time to time.
Whenever possible, I spend my time in nature and never miss to share a good laugh with my closest friends. As someone that deeply values the art of conversation, this allows me to reconnect with my inner-self and tap into my creative side.
Understanding nature, people and learning about different cultures is something I really enjoy, and trying new dishes is definitely my favourite part of the process. Whatever I do, music is always part of my life and I cannot imagine my day without it.
Fluent in: Macedonian, Albanian, English.

Education & Work Experience

(find more info on LinkedIn)

In 2008, I enrolled the State University in Tetovo, and by the end of 2012 earned a BA degree in Journalism

My work experience goes back to 2009, when I was especially interested in political journalism, hence I decided to broaden my knowledge by working as a translator in the Parliamentary Institute of the Assembly of the Republic of North Macedonia. My tasks included Albanian to Macedonian (and vice--versa) translation of written government documents, live translation of political sessions, and conference speaking in both languages.
After an year of being a translator, I was given the opportunity to work as a Field Reporter at MRTV (Македонска Радио Телевизија) from 2010 until 2011, while I was also a full-time student in second and third year. My tasks included broadcasting news of any nature that happened across the territory of N. Macedonia. The presentation was on live TV and required use of both, Macedonian and Albanian languages.
From 2011 until 2012, I worked as a Radio Host at Radio Red FM, having my own weekly podcast covering mostly entertaining news and events. In the same year (2012), I gained my BA degree in Journalism and decided to continue my career as a TV reporter in local media.
In 2015, I was hired as Morning TV Show Host at AlSat, and worked as a Screenwriter and TV Host until 2018.
From 2018 - 2019 I hold the position of News Anchor at Art Channel, after which I decided to take another step, and continued my career as a Show Producer at Maqina TV, until 2020.
In 2020, I was hired as News Anchor again, this time at Klan Macedonia TV, which required live reading of news for 2 whole years, mostly in Albanian, but sometimes in Macedonian language. Shortly after the end of 2021, I was promoted to TV Editor and I still hold this position (2021 - on going). My tasks include analysis, reporting, and screenwriting of a morning talk show  called "Happy Day".
